Finding Chronic Pain & Opioid Information.

There is a wealth of information about chronic pain management and opioids, but it can be challenging to identify resources that are current, evidence-based, and available to those without library access. Below are a few tips and tricks for finding the best open access content.

 

Databases

Trip is a clinical search engine designed to allow users to quickly and easily find and use high-quality research evidence to support their practice and/or care. Trip is designed to search across content types including clinical practice guidelines, images, videos, patient information leaflets, educational courses, and news. Both free and subscription versions are available.

PubMed comprises more than 29 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.
