Jana McNulty, RPh

Jana McNulty is a clinical pharmacist and academic detailer with the Centre for Effective Practice and Hub Pharmacist for Project ECHO St. Joseph’s Care Group.

Jana has strong foundational training and experience in pharmacotherapy and clinical evidence appraisal with a special focus on chronic pain management, safe opioid prescribing, opioid use disorder, and benzodiazepine use in older adults. Through her academic detailing work, Jana provides Mainpro+ accredited education outreach to primary care practitioners throughout Ontario where evidence based information is delivered to help improve prescribing practices, patient safety and quality of care. She holds a CDE designation and certification in opioid dependence treatment. Jana obtained her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Degree from Dalhousie University.
