Thomas Test
Also known as the Iliacus Test or Iliopsoas Test, is used to measure the flexibility of the hip flexors, which includes the iliopsoas muscle group, the rectus femoris, pectineus, gracillis as well as the tensor fascia latae and the sartorius. Impaired range of motion of the hip may be an underlying cause to other conditions such as patellofemoral pain syndrome, lower back pain, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Lower Extremity Functional Scale (LEFS)
The objective of LEFS is to measure "patients' initial function, ongoing progress, and outcome" for a wide range of lower-extremity conditions.
Pain Outcomes Questionnaire-Short Form (POQ-SF)
The POQ-SF is a 20-item inventory that gives a standardized assessment of function. There are 19 primary pain items rated on a 11 point (0-10) Likert-type scale and one demographical question. These 19 items are identical to those found in the longer and original version of the instrument, the POQ-VA.
Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) Toolkit
Comprehensive resource for assessing hypermobile EDS and other EDS types.
Pain Catastrophizing Scale (PCS)
The objective of PCS is to assess the state of mind of patients in pain through a comprehensive evaluation instrument that encompasses the different perspectives on catastrophizing (Sullivan, 1995). Clinicians and researchers may register at the website to download the PCS (free for non-commercial use).
